Fairly easy to install and the design is straight forward. Still enough room to fit 180lbs of bumper plates on the horns if needed. Also enjoyable that it frees up some room inside with the shorter horns. 130lbs on a 2:1 cable system is enough for almost any 1-handed exercise. Would be nice if they sold an add-on with an additional 4 plates per side, though.

Make sure you have tge M4 2.0 or youll have to do some work to get it to work with your M4 1.0. I have a 3d printer and bought the pulley wheel and bolt from amazon. Also you dont have to but you can cut your cable down and resize it as it will be a little but longer. Otherwise the plates are amazing addon.

Amazing addition to my m4 2.0 ultra set that I got a few months ago. Weight selection is seamless, cables move great, would definitely recommend. Only critique would be for the stickers, the first sticker needs a bigger hole to accommodate for the bolts.

I have also run into the same issue as Vince D. I read his review on how he adapted the weight plates to make them work but I need to know how to shorten the cable that was already on the machine to make the adaptation work. Since the weight stacks sit up higher than the original set up, the cable is way too long and I'm not sure how to shorten it. I figured I would need to cut off the end piece, cut the cable to the length I need, then reistall the end piece that bolts to he machine. Please advise. Thank you.

I really like the add-on weight stack kit. Before ordering it, I checked my Amazon order history, which indicated that I had originally purchased the M4-2.0. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be the case—I actually have the M4-1.0. To make the kit work, I had to drill out the plastic weight stack guides so they would fit the M4-1.0 guide tubes. I also had to purchase pulleys and adapt them to the weight stack rods, and I ended up reusing the original cables. Despite the additional modifications, I was able to get everything working properly. The company provided a $100 credit toward my order, which I appreciated and helped offset the extra effort and parts required. At the end of the day, I was able to make the kit work and am happy with the final result.
