Sara Gandola continues her HYROX season with the support of MIKOLO as she prepares for the HYROX Hong Kong Women’s Doubles Pro race on May 8, 2026. After competing in both Las Vegas and Miami, she now heads into the next stop on the calendar, this time in a doubles format.
A Shift to Doubles Competition
The Women’s Doubles Pro race brings a different pace compared to individual competition. Work is shared across stations, which means execution becomes more about timing and coordination. Managing effort, staying in sync, and keeping transitions smooth all start to matter more as the race unfolds.
It’s a format Sara Gandola has already stepped into earlier this season, and one that requires a slightly different approach on race day.
Keeping the Approach Simple
With races coming relatively close together, there’s no major reset between events. The focus stays on:
- maintaining a steady training rhythm
- staying sharp across key movements
- keeping effort controlled under fatigue
At this point in the season, small adjustments tend to make the biggest difference.
Between Races
Preparation for Hong Kong is less about building from scratch and more about staying ready. That usually comes down to keeping structure in place—training, recovery, and timing—without adding unnecessary load right before competition.
Looking Ahead
Hong Kong will be Sara Gandola’s next test in a format that puts more weight on execution and teamwork. With two races already behind her this season, the focus now is simple: show up ready and deliver a clean race.
